The Executive Director Assistant will work within the day-to-day administration, financial and general operations. The Executive Director Assistant will provide operations support, program support, and administration support. The individual will interpret and make decisions in accordance with prescribed procedures, protocols, confidentiality, and professionalism of MYFRS.

The Executive Director Assistant will undertake all duties, tasks &/or responsibilities as required by the Executive Director. Performance of other related duties as required. The following outline provides examples and are not limited to:

Responsibilities

· To take direction from the executive director were needed.

· To maintain open and positive communication with the worker, parents and children.

· To assist with preparation, organization and clean up at the centre.

· To advise of any possible concerns or conditions that are occurring that might put the children and youth at risk.

· To help the executive director or workers as required

· To maintain confidentiality of the clients and centre.

· Practice good working knowledge of family centered role model

· To provide verbal, written communication

· Be a positive role model

· Maintain client records and pertinent documents. Confidentiality is a must.

Provide basic office, telephone, computers and administration tasks.



Duties

Qualifications/Requirements

Min grade 10 or better.  Interest in going back to school an asset.

Food safe certificate, first aid or willing to get

Drivers license (ie. class 5 ) is an asset

Knowledge of community resources (ie. MCFD) or how to operate standard office equipment, planning, organizing, and communications.

Must be mature thinking, self motivated and able to work independently.

Interest and enjoyment to work with children/youth.

Demonstrated

o Computer skills and software knowledge (MS Office, excel).

o Communication skills in oral, written, listening and interpersonal skills

o Teamwork &/or individual work, leadership and supervisory skills

o Ability to function independently, physically, and good time management

o Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
