This training position is to assist in providing supervision and role modeling to children.  This position will assist with social, educational and recreational activities. The student will help to provide a safe and supportive environment for program participants. 8 week contract ends with Aug 31

· To take direction from the ece worker that is on shift.

· To maintain appropriate communication with the worker, parents and children.

· To assist with preparation and clean up of activities at the centre.

· To help with cooking, clean up and disinfecting.

· To advise of any possible concerns or conditions that are occurring that might put the children and youth at risk.

· To encourage children in all aspects of the program.

· To help monitor the children.

· To maintain confidentiality of the families and centre.

· Provides emotional support and feedback with the children.

· Practice good working knowledge of family centered role model

· Facilitates physical, recreational, social and educational activities

· Provides client with a positive role model

· Basic office, telephone, computers and administration
